This is me

I’m a Topeka, Kansas newborn and family photographer, wife and mom to two boys, and firm believer that the best photographs usually happen somewhere between the perfectly posed moments.

I’ve been behind a camera for nearly 20 years, starting with a Nikon film camera and learning from my mom. Over time—and especially after becoming a mom myself—I realized the photographs I cared about most were the ones that preserved childhood exactly as it was: messy, funny, tender, loud, and changing way too fast.
