Jess Stitt Photography Experience

Come as you are

You don’t have to figure everything out before your session. From choosing what to wear to finding the right location, I’ll guide you through the process so you can show up feeling prepared—and actually enjoy being with your family.

Your kids can be shy, silly, loud, clingy, serious, or completely uninterested in my camera. There’s no need to apologize or spend the entire session asking them to behave.

I use movement, play, prompts, and gentle direction to create space for real connection while still making sure we get the photographs you came for.

Smiling tattooed blonde mother holding newborn baby while young blond boy poses beside her.
There sisters twirling joyfully in a vibrant sunflower field at golden hour.

A little direction. A lot of connection.

Family photos without all the pressure.

STEP 01

Tell me about your family

Start by filling out the inquiry form and telling me what you’re hoping to document. I’ll help you choose the session that makes the most sense and find a date that works for your family.

STEP 02

We plan it together

Once you’re booked, I’ll send everything you need to prepare without making it feel like homework.

You’ll get help with:

  • wardrobe and styling
  • access to the client closet
  • location selection
  • session preparation
  • a questionnaire so I can get to know your family beforehand
STEP 03

The fun Part

When session day arrives, you don’t need to know how to pose or keep everyone perfectly behaved.

I’ll guide you when you need direction and give your kids room to move, play, explore, and be themselves.

We’ll get the everyone-looking photograph—but we’re also going after the laughs, snuggles, chaos, and little interactions that actually feel like your family.

STEP 04

I take it from here

After your session, you can go home and get back to real life.

You’ll receive a sneak peek within about a week, followed by your finished gallery around two weeks after your session.

Then you can choose your favorites, download your photographs, and order artwork for your home.

What you don’t have to worry about

“My kids never cooperate.”

They don’t need to. I’ll work with them instead of expecting them to perform.

“We’re awkward in photos.”

Almost everyone tells me this. I’ll give you enough direction that you never have to wonder what to do.

“My kids/partner dont like photos.”

I get it.  We work with what comes.  If we need to be super quick, I got you.  If someone needs extra time, I got you.

“What if things don’t go according to plan?”

Then we change the plan. Some of my favorite photographs happen that way.

Ready to make this easy?

Tell me a little about your family, what you want to remember, and when you’re hoping to schedule. I’ll take it from there.
